"Through my own journey, I have returned to a connected spirit to find creativity, stillness and peace in everyday living. And I am here to help guide you back to your creative connections to nature, being, and living simply."
For years I would wake-up, rush off to work, meet the needs of students all day, come home to take care of my family and home before falling into bed, fast to sleep. I felt disconnected even though I was surrounded by so many brilliant members of my community. I had little time for my children, let alone the important connection to nature, creativity and ultimately myself. I was following a career path that no longer belonged to me. I had increased anxiety, an unhealthy lifestyle, and was overall unhappy.
I searched for a place outside myself, a community to which to belong. Through my own journey I have discovered that nothing exists outside of me; thus I created the space, the commune collective, a place of belonging within and outside myself.
I have always been drawn to helping others, hence the studies of psychology, a career in education, a transition to yoga teaching, and this evolutionary road of service and giving to others. This mission has inspired me to fulfill my role as a mother and guide to many. I began my personal yoga practice when my children were babies; through its unfolding, I found myself in a 200 YTT program.
Yoga Teacher Training was originally intended to serve as a catalyst for a career change. What I discovered was far deeper and more profound. It was a catalyst, but it was also the momentum I needed to return back to my creative nature, my own path to live authentically and simply through nurturing community connections and nature-inspired practices.
Let's return to our mats to connect mind, body, and spirit into unity. Each session combines breathwork, yoga postural practices, philosophy, and meditation.
Creative Nature is by nature creative!
That means we are creative beings, and are meant to experiment, play, and get creative. Even better when you can pair creative energy with eco-friendly options for sustainability.
